When I was taking the Parsnip pictures below an Alley Cat Race went flying by the window, I managed to scramble out onto the fire escape for a few shots before they were gone. Whenever I see the alley cat tags on fixed gears around the city I think of how funny I’d look in an alley cat race on my little powder blue Public bike with my striped helmet. Very ridiculous. There was however a gal much fiercer than I in the race today, I was jealous of her ability!
